victim services DIRECTOR FOR MARSHALL COUNTY: raquel zavaleta
Raquel Zavaleta provides advocacy support and direct victims services as part of our SASS Program.
Raquel is a native Spanish speaker and has over a decade of experience working with the Hispanic community in the area. She is a Jacksonville State University graduate, where she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Marketing with special honors.
Raquel has prior experience working with other nonprofits. Her experience also includes high-pressure marketing and management roles. This experience gave her a profound appreciation for how nonprofits improve the quality of life in our communities.
She is articulate and very efficient at working with people of different backgrounds, adept at addressing sensitive issues and maintaining the strictest of confidentiality. She is very passionate about our cause and helping victims become survivors.
